​I was born in Burbank, Ca.1965. Born with a condition called Arthrogryposis, a muscle and joint disease that fuses the major joints... At birth my mom was told I would never walk, but thanks to strength training and staying consistent I live an independent lifestyle... With weight training "The World Is Yours" if you work hard enough and stay committed.

I have rehabilitated from 16 orthropedic surgeries and 5 broken bones, and started walking at the age of 12 years old.


I have been involved in the martial arts for over 37 years and strength training for 21 years.

Prior to becoming a Fitness Trainer I was an Accountant for 10 years.

In 2000, I moved to Lake Oswego and opened my first personal training studio in Oregon City in 2005. Later, I opened two other locations in Lake Oswego.

When asked how martial arts training has helped him with his personal training career, Brian says: "They actually complement each other. I don't think I would be the kind of trainer or person I am today without martial arts, nor would I do so well in the dojo without my power, strength, balance and muscle endurance. My passions are now inseparable and help define who I am."
